Cost Accountant For General Motors Egypt
General Motors Egypt is hiring a “Cost Accountant”
Accountabilities:
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
- Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
- Update standard costs in the bill of materials
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
- Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
- Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 solid years in the Accounting/Finance field in a Manufacturing Environment (At least 1 year in Cost Accounting section), (CMA / CPA / IFRS DIP.) certification is preferred
- Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Strong Written and Spoken English
- Strong Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills

General Motors Egypt is hiring a “Material controller”
Accountabilities:
• Reduce Parts Missed at Operation.
• Eliminate lost vehicle production due to material/part shortages.
• Proactive Manage Supply Base Capacity for volume Growth.
• Monitor trouble/bottleneck suppliers. Ensure correct inventories for components / Assembly material.
• Confirm/Issue SPPS’s (Supplier Practical Problem Solving) for late delivery issues.
• Performs supplier evaluation and development.
• Accountable to department internal controls compliance, Report Supplier’s problems. Establishes, modifies and monitors shipping of the in consignment material (CKD, Local and PM).
• Maintains the inventory level matching with A, B and C ranking system.
• Monitor the imported materials by maintaining sufficient inventory level by local suppliers to ensure compliance with contract done with GM.
Requirements:
• 2 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of Supply Chain parameters (Lead Time, Supplier’s Production Capacity, delivery logistics, etc…).

Accountabilities:
• Coordinating and performing work under general direction from IT manager, in-line with GMIT policies and procedures
• Contact application lead, business owner, and lead business stakeholders by shift as needed
• Lead support for one or more local unique applications
• Initiate incident process and follow-up
• Configure PC/printer mappings
• Provide initial troubleshooting of Internet connectivity issues
• Build clients (GMOL/plant floor/wireless) per automated build script
Requirements:
• Basic understanding of BUR and storage environments (which equipment, O/S, etc.)
• Basic understanding of VMWare concepts (which is the host, etc.)
• Exercise a high level of independent judgment
• CCNA skill level with Cisco routers, switches, ASA’s and access points
• CCNA level of knowledge of wireless technologies
• User level skill set of networking tools including: Cisco Prime LMS; NCS, NNMi, Netscout, Airmagnet, etc.
